Orbital Shaker LOS-B20 is a compact, benchtop unit, offers orbital shaking with speed range of 100 to 800 rpm. Equipped with LCD display for speed and time, this shaker provides continuous/timed operation supported by over-speed protection and detection. With maintenance- free brushless DC motor for high performance, ambient temperature of 5 to 40°C, it has knob control and IP21 protection with RS232 interface.
Orbital shaker is widely used across chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, environmental and food sciences, clinical diagnostics, and eukaryotic cell culture etc. to agitate and mix samples and solutions in tubes, plates, and flasks.

It provides regulated shaking for two or four microplates. With a speed range of 300 to 500rpm, it can be adjusted to suit gentle shaking to ensure that the well contents are not ejected and require more vigorous agitation for effective aeration across the small surface area of each of the wells. They are suitable for mixing, incubation and cultivation of biological and chemical components in microbiology, molecular biology, immunology and biotechnology.

It utilizes a gentle 3D gyratory action where the platform moves in a three dimensional motion about the central point. With a large platform, the rockers can accommodate large vessels such as culture flasks, Petri dishes etc. The non-slip matt on the tray prevents the vessels slipping away during agitation. They are suitable for low foaming agitation and are widely used in DNA extractions, staining and de-staining procedures.
