Automatic softening point tester LSPT-A10 is a bench top microprocessor controlled analytical unit that determines the softening point of two samples at once. Operated via touch panel it uses ball and ring apparatus for reliable detection. Designed as per Test methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering and ASTM D36 Standard test method for Softening of Bitumen (Ring-and-Ball Apparatus) it is ideal for determining the softening points of petroleum asphalts, coal pitch, liquid petroleum asphalt, etc.
Used in asphalt manufacturing companies, highway and bridge construction companies, laboratories, universities, scientific research institutes, etc.
